Privacy policy

Omahji Circuit is an in-person Mahjong league operated by Omahji LLC. This policy describes what we collect through the Circuit app and our websites, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Account information. Your name, email address, and password (handled by our authentication provider — we never see or store your password itself), plus a phone number if you choose to add one.

Profile photo. Circuit is played in person, so a real photo of your face is a required part of your player profile — it’s how the other players at your table recognise you. Photos are visible only to signed-in players who share a chapter with you and to your league’s organizer. They are never shown on the public web.

League activity. The matches you join or propose, the scores you and your tablemates submit and confirm, your standings, your skill level, and the waiver you sign before playing.

Payments. Season registrations are processed by Stripe. We receive your name, email, phone number, and registration details from checkout; we never receive or store your card number.

Website. If you join a city waitlist we store the email address and city you submit, and use them for exactly that — telling you when your city opens.

How we use it

To run the league: showing rosters and match schedules to your chapter, posting confirmed scores to season leaderboards, processing registrations and refunds, sending you information about your season, and responding when you contact us. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who sees it

Other signed-in players in your chapter see your display name, photo, skill level, and match participation — that visibility is the product. Your league’s organizer sees their chapter’s roster, including contact details you’ve provided. Service providers process data on our behalf (Stripe for payments, Supabase for data and authentication, Vercel for hosting). We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app — see deleting your account for exactly what happens. In short: your sign-in is destroyed and your name, photo, and contact details are removed immediately; match results are retained in anonymised form (“Former member”) because they are also part of other players’ league history.

Children

Circuit is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
